This is the first of the illustrations I created to commemorate the 550th anniversary of the Proclamation of Queen Isabella the Catholic
It shows Isabella as a child, when she was still an infanta. Behind her, the Lady of the Spanish Cathedrals emerges, the imposing cathedral of Segovia. In the background, the Guadarrama mountain.
Due to the fact that the illustrations would be shown in animations, the different scenes were drawn on separate layers. So in this, and in the upcoming illustrations, I'll show you the illustrations with their different layers.
All the illustrations were created using the traditional oil painting technique in digital format.
👉 This work was created for the commemoration of the 550th anniversary of the Proclamation of Queen Isabella the Catholic.
